Background
Eri was raised in the South-East of Brazil, as a child he was incredibly sporty, playing several different types of sport, including basketball, football, and handball.
At the university he began to struggle with his sexuality creating some personal trauma which resulted in gaining quite a lot of excess weight which had a negative effect on his self-perception, lack of confidence and low self-worth.
The location that he grew up in is very focused around being on the beach being out in the open and doing activities, he found himself quite self-conscious of his weight, so he found the strength within to begin his fitness journey and started at the gym which was complimented by a healthy eating regime.
Quite quickly, he saw some amazing progression and his self-esteem began to increase. This reignited his passion for sport and exercise finding himself training 4 to 6 times a week including a range of sports and styles of training.
Philosophy on exercise and well beingĀ
Eri Is an empathetic understanding individual who can relate to many people who struggle with weight management, that combined with the challenge of a very homophobic living location. So, he wanted to make a difference and help give people the opportunity he always wanted for himself.
As part of Fitness that everybody can have access to personal training, therefore Eri is now going to lead on the Online Coaching and Virtual Personal Training element of SW Fitness.
He is a firm believer that with the right mindset and focus, support, and guidance he can provide people with the tools and help for anyone anywhere who wants to achieve the results which they only dreamed of.
Bringing together a cohesive approach of the body and mind to improve personal confidence self-esteem and increased mental health at the same time overall physical well-being.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Sports Performance and Excellence
- Level 3 Certificate in Planning and Delivering Personal Training
- Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing
